Financial Planning Executive, Paraplanner

Role: Permanent – Full or Part Time Role – 8.30am start – We can welcome applications from individuals looking for more flexible working options but please express this in your covering letter.

Location: London Office: London Office, 19 Eastbourne Terrace, Paddington

Salary: Up to £45,000 dependent on qualifications and experience – Additional income for team leader paraplanners

Minimum Qualifications: At least a 2:1 Degree, professional qualifications or financial services experience

Paraplanning Job Role

The Financial Planning Executive role is an investigative one which involves supporting Financial Planners with the analysing of data and the drafting of financial reports that shape advice for our clients. Some people new to this role have never worked in the industry and employees are trained on the job to be able to perform all the functions below.

  • Communicating with Financial Planners to discuss client objectives after a meeting and write them up.
  • Preparing and analysing data to conduct an up-to-date report on client financial situations/objectives.
  • Researching and analysing client financial position to aide advice for pre-meeting work.
  • Sending out application forms for clients to sign and return.
  • Communicating with product providers on behalf of clients.
  • Updating various databases with correspondence and important information relating to clients.
  • Scanning documentation into client files.
