“It’s nice to be home.” says John Baxter, Unividual’s Managing Director. The move means this expanding family-run company now has a ten-year lease on a top-quality office building. Spread across four floors of Georgian splendour there is ample working space, three meeting rooms, a training room for Univdual’s in-house financial planner training school and a basement level with a kitchen. Areas for reflection and concentration were also important to incorporate, something of growing importance to Unividual, says John, “I have never had the privilege of working with so many dedicated individuals in one business. What this brings is a group of people who genuinely care about their role and how it impacts on clients. Naturally this can lead to a high-pressured environment and it is so important that our staff not only enjoy where they work but have space to relax, regroup and reflect”.

Unividual may have moved in to an old Georgian property but inside you’ll find the business anything but dusty and ancient. Marketing Director, Cherie-Anne Baxter, aged 35 says,“We are pretty pleased, we now have our very own piece of Bath to work in. We have had our meeting rooms especially designed by one of our clients. Talking about money is an emotive subject and we wanted to create one meeting room that had a calm old-school charm to it where people can relax, this is our library room. Then there is the board room which is a fresh, cool business-like environment with state-of-the art meeting facilities.  We now have five financial planners, soon to be six with Simon Jones following in the footsteps of Scott Gurd, Simon Hicks and Greg Harris who came through our in-house Chartered Financial Planner school, Unicademy. So our meeting rooms get put to good use.”

Unividual’s Managing Director, John Baxter, and his supporting team of financial planning assistants are also settled in, along with the operational support team that run the rest of the business from Bath. John finishes off by saying, “We’re pleased to be investing in the long-term economic future of Bath and the South West.  It’s an exciting time for Unividual, including Director Lewis Baxter opening our second office located in London Paddington. We’re happy to be doing even more as part of Bath’s thriving business community.”

Unividual London was launched in November 2018 and is based at 19 Eastbourne Terrace, on platform on of London Paddington train station.
