It was recently announced that Greg Harris, a Bath financial planner at Bath based Unividual, has been short-listed for the Rising Star Award at the Bath Property Awards. The Media Clash event was launched in 2018 and hosts an awards dinner that celebrates the property experts of Bath.

Mr. Harris,  was surprised and delighted to be nominated: “I have worked really hard over the last couple of years to build my business. I started at Unividual as a technical specialist on the Unicademy Chartered Financial Planner training programme. It can take as quick as 6 months for most financial advisers to train up and qualify but this programme is 3 years long. This gave me a huge amount of experience and knowledge that most financial planners wouldn’t hold. Upon graduating I had already built up a network of people needing financial advise. Property is at the centre of most people’s financial worlds so on top of focusing on mortgage advice I trained up in areas in and around Equity Release also. Referrals came in quickly and this year I was able to focus on what I could contribute to the local community. I have been heavily involved in Bath Life Business Club Lunches, our business was nominated for a Bath Life Award in 2019, I became an ambassador for Insuring Women’s Futures and this year I also was awarded the Pension Transfer Gold Standard by the Chartered Insurance Institute.”

“When I found out I had been nominated for the Rising Star Award for the Bath Property Awards I was really pleased. Property matters to us all. It impacts on our finances, we work in it, live in it and take pride in it. Property plays a huge part in the advice I provide to my clients and I work with a huge variety of people at different stages within their lives from first-time buyers through to those looking for an additional home.”

The awards ceremony takes place at The Apex Hotel on 15th November, two other people have been short-listed in the category.
